Chautari (June 2010)

The next Chautari meeting will be held on Saturday, June 12th. Dr. Milan Shrestha will give a talk on “Patterns of Sociocultural, Economic, and Environmental Change in Lamjung, Nepal.” Milan jee did his Ph D in Anthropology from the University of Georgia and he is currently working as Post-doctoral Research Associate at the Global Institute of Sustainability, Arizona State University. This presentation is based on his dissertation fieldwork in Nepal. We are also planning to have a potluck lunch before the presentation. Please RSVP and let us know if you want to bring anything.

Date and Time: Saturday, June 12th, 12:30- 3:00pm.

Venue: Yuma Room, Pyle Adult Recreation Center (by the Tempe Public Library).
