Dr. Prabhu Budhathoki has extensive experience in sustainable development, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, environment and climate change. He obtained his Ph. D. in resource management from UK, and M. Sc. in Forestry Sciences from India. Dr. Budhathoki was Country Representative of IUCN in Nepal from 2006-08 and has also worked for UNDP and FAO in Nepal, Iran, and Bangladesh. Before joining international agencies, he worked with the Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation of Nepal for 13 years.
